Women Business Owners Seeking Investor Financing!

Make Your Best Investor Pitch for the Funding You Need

Put Your Best Pitch Forward to Investors You Want to Reach

A little later I’m going to tell you how to make investors love you for not wasting their time watching a terrible pitch.
But first I’m going to tell you how you can make your pitch preparation easier.

There is increasing demand for making investor pitches, and more opportunities for mistakes in doing so.

As an idea success consultant & trainer I’m having trouble keeping up with requests for pitch coaching. So I developed a way to give you the essentials of making investor pitches.

I want to reach as many startup and early stage entrepreneurs – especially women – as quickly as possible.

I have tons of testimonials for my other products and services but none for this yet.

Therefore, I’m making this training available to you at half price for the next 30 days and asking a favor in return. I need your honest feedback as testimonial for this new product.

I honor fast decision-makers and want this training in your hands right away. The first 50 people who buy “From Idea Success-to-Investor ‘Yes’” by midnight Pacific time 12/31/2015 receive a quarter-hour “office hours” consultation with me to determine your investor pitch needs.

Other entrepreneurs might get the money you want if your pitch doesn’t “reach” the right investors the right way.

Let me share with you a recent connection I experienced.

Casey - a medical doctor whose name I've changed due to her request for privacy - developed a smartphone app that allowed caregivers of home-bound family members to access and schedule home care services directly from their phones. She created a business to sell her app and needed funding from investors to market her app to the home care industry. This is the type of business that does not qualify for a traditional loan.

Her pitch to a panel of investors was so difficult to hear that the investors missed important aspects of her business. None of the investors reached out to her with an interest in her business and product.

Casey noticed my facial expressions and nods of encouragement when I was in the audience. She approached me after her presentation. I told her that I was a pitch coach and was sending good vibes to her because I sensed she was having difficulty giving her presentation. She asked me how she could improve her pitch. I gave her several suggestions for organizing her pitch more-effectively, projecting her voice more-powerfully, and holding the microphone differently. She was unaware that her voice was difficult to hear, nor was she comfortable using a microphone.

Casey was a great example of how advanced education, strong skills and experience within her areas of expertise, a good idea that she implemented and for which she was making money did not translate to a powerful investor pitch without coaching. She contacted me three weeks later to tell me that she pitched at another investor pitch event and after incorporating my suggestions, received an interest inquiry from one of the investors with a follow-up meeting scheduled with him.

“Within a year of establishing our solar panel business, my brother and I were ready to seek funding from a Venture Capital firm interested in green (energy) businesses. We researched on the Internet how to make an investor pitch and copied a slide deck format that we liked. We pitched at four events in Virginia and Maryland and received zero interest in funding our business. We met Sylvia Henderson at one of the events and took her up on her pitch coaching services offer. She gave us guidance we could not pick up on our own that helped us hone our investor pitch more effectively. She connected us with another pitch event where we received three investor interest inquiries with one funding offer among them. Through working with Sylvia we increased our success with investor interest in us by 300% plus received $20,000 in our funding round.”

Investor pitch events are increasingly popular with the advent of television programs like Shark Tank™ and The Profit™. More entrepreneurs are pitching for dollars now that the Federal Jobs Act has opened this opportunity to the public. With more opportunities to pitch, yet exponentially more entrepreneurs pitching, you have more competition for getting into pitch events.

I want you to make your best investor pitches to the investors you need to reach, as quickly and often as you can. To help you get the best practices that can put your pitch above the rest, I’ve compiled my best consulting guidance from the entrepreneurs I coach and from former Wall Street brokers and make it available to you at this reduced price through the end of the year.
